 Alaska fugitive wanted for sex crimes arrested in TruckeeKRNV A fugitive wanted in Alaskaon several charges related to sex crimes involving minors was arrested in Truckee on Thursday. Truckee Police Department and California Highway Patrol – Truckee assisted the U. S. Marshals Fugitive Taskforce in an operation to locate 54-year-old David Swendiman of Girdwood, Alaska, after they received information he had recently arrived in town and was living as a transient. Swendiman was found and arrested within a shopping center in the Gateway Area on May 5. |
